About me
Lost between landscape and portrait photography, I always imagined that it would be possible to live one passion at a time.
Landscape photography allows me to abstract myself from the people I'm photographing, to forget the movement of the streets, the sounds of people hurrying to their destination. In those moments, I don't remember the faces, the smiles, the bodies contorted in search of a pose... and I stay there until I'm completely satiated.
Portrait photography brings me back to the world of people, of expressions, of natural or forced poses and also of sincere or sour smiles. It makes me look at the people and think, think about their life story. There I have to give my all so that the end result passes the scrutiny of the most avid critics.
Landscape and portrait photography are essentially the extremes of two completely different pleasures. Each with its own pains and joys, incomparable but complementing each other in a whirlwind of emotions that must be experienced one at a time.
